Search for ADD Extra-dimensions in Monophotons

Sumario: | This note describes the search for extra dimensions in the Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos, Dvali framework using the final state of a graviton and a photon in the CMS experiment with an integrated luminosity of 1.14 \fbinv of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$~TeV. In such a signal, the graviton appears as missing transverse energy in CMS. We observe that the data and the Standard Model prediction are in agreement for the photon's transverse momentum spectrum and the missing transverse energy spectrum. We extend the current limits on the measurement of the $\gamma+\ETslash$\ \ \ topology to be $M_D >1.25-1.31$~TeV for $n$=2--6. |
