Early Higgs searches with the ATLAS data

We search for the Higgs boson produced in pp-collisions at sqrt{s}=7TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The searches are performed by using various decay channels such as H ightarrow gamma gamma , WW, ZZ, au au and so on. The analysis of each final state is well performed, where main background...

Sumario:We search for the Higgs boson produced in pp-collisions at sqrt{s}=7TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The searches are performed by using various decay channels such as H ightarrow gamma gamma , WW, ZZ, au au and so on. The analysis of each final state is well performed, where main background contribution is understood in a data-driven technique, but we see no signifcant hint for the signal events up to now. In this presentation, we summarize the results with 2010 data. By showing the simulated result, we also discuss the future prospects for our search for the Standard Model Higgs boson.
