Commissioning of the ATLAS TRT at the LHC

Nearly five years ago the ATLAS Transition Radiation Detector was installed into ATLAS. In this talk the various stages of commissioning the ATLAS TRT are presented, from the "cosmic" phase via the "low energy" to the "high energy" phase.
