Sumario:The following topics will be addressed : Data Model and Data Placement evolution, evaluation of new software technologies such as Cloud computing for the LHC computing. The ATLAS collaboration has been interested in cloud computing since commercial clouds like Amazon EC2 became available. We launched R&D project (together with WLCG) to study cloud computing for ATLAS, and then to design and implement cloud awareness in Distributed Data Management system, production and distributed analysis (PanDA) and in related tools and services.
