Sumario: | The ATLAS B physics program studies production cross sections, searches for rare b decay signatures and plans to measure CP violation effects in B-events, such as Bs0 -> J/psi phi. The production of Quarkonium is an important testing ground for QCD calculations. Decays of B-mesons are sensitive to New Physics through loop effects and provide an alternative window into physics beyond the Standard Model. |
