description On the 10th of October 2011, a physics fill was dedicated to providing ATLAS & CMS with a high pile-up colliding pair. A pile-up µ of 31 was reached, to be compared with the designed value of 21 encounters per crossing [1]. In this note observations of beam parameters evolution (the beam current, the bunch emittances and length) are presented. Some conclusions are drawn and ideas for future MD are discussed.
