Update of the measurement of Drell-Yan cross section in pp collisions at sqrt(7) TeV with 1.1 fb-1 of 2011 data
We present an update to the measurement of the Drell-Yan differential cross-section $d\sigma/dM$ in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$~TeV using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity 1.1~fb$^{-1}$ recorded at the LHC with the CMS detector in 2011. The cross section measurement normalized...

Sumario: | We present an update to the measurement of the Drell-Yan differential cross-section $d\sigma/dM$ in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$~TeV using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity 1.1~fb$^{-1}$ recorded at the LHC with the CMS detector in 2011. The cross section measurement normalized to the Z peak cross section is reported in the mass range 15-1500~GeV. This measurement is a combined result of the dimuon and dielectron channels. The results are compared to theoretical predictions. |
