Results and Prospects for Charm Physics at LHCb

Studies performed by the LHCb experiment concerning decays of charmed mesons are presented, using data collected during 2010. Results are presented on: a search for $CP$ violation in the Dalitz plot of the decay $D^+ \to K^- K^+ \pi^+$ and its charge conjugate; measurement of the difference in the $CP$ asymmetry ($\Delta A_{CP}$ in the decays $D^0 \to K^+ K^-$ and $D^0 \to \pi^+ \pi^-$; measurement of the $CP$ asymmetry of the lifetime of the $D^0(A^\Gamma)$ in the decay $D^0 \to K^+ K^-$.
