Sumario: | The development of the current muon reconstruction in the PANDORAPFANEW particle flow algorithm is presented. First, an introduction to PANDORAPFANEW and a comparision of the signals from muons and pions in the calorimeter is presented. Then, the muon reconstruction algorithm is introduced. Finally, the performance is tested on both isolated muons and muons in high multiplicity events, and found to be adequate. Background signals from beam halo muons are also discussed and possibilities of reconstructing them are suggested. |
