Sumario: | In this document a study of the impact of jitter and static misalignment on the elements of the Ring To Main Linac transport (RTML) on the emittance growth through Monte Carlo simulations using the tracking code PLACET is presented. Tolerances are proposed for the dynamic alignment requirements of the RTML in order to meet the budget emittance growth. A study of the impact of static misalignment and correction thereof with basic Beam-Based Alignment techniques is also presented and resulting tolerances are proposed for the prealignment phase of the machine. |
