Sumario:In this note, we present the results of a PS-to-SPS beam transfer MD, which investigates the influence of the PS bunch rotation timing on the transmission. The two-dimensional parameter space of the 40 MHz and 80 MHz rotation timings has been scanned and signicant loss reduction could be achieved, in agreement with earlier simulation results. However, since the constancy of transverse losses during the MD is doubtful, further measurements are required for conclusiveness. Nevertheless, the results are encouraging and suggest that our earlier simulations, promising a loss reduction of up to about 50 % for higher intensities or higher PS bunch rotation voltages, are appropriate.
