description In this note we present the studies of Jet Energy Scale performance in the full dataset collected by the CMS detector in 2011, corresponding to 4.9 fb$^{-1}$. Pile-up corrections have been derived using both the Random Cone method in MinBias events and the FastJet rho method in dijets data. The Monte Carlo truth jet energy corrections from Pythia QCD samples are presented. Eta-dependent residual corrections were derived using dijet events and the absolute scale residual corrections were determined from photon+jet and Zmumu+jet events. The composition of Particle-Flow jets has been checked in dijet events. Finally, the jet energy scale uncertainty, including a set of independent uncertainty sources, is discussed.
