Observation of the $\chi_b(3P)$ state at LHCb in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$~TeV
We report the observation of the new quarkonium $\chi_b(3P)$ state through its decay into $\varUpsilon(1S) \gamma$, with $\varUpsilon(1S)\rightarrow\mu^+\mu^-$, using 0.9~fb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the LHCb detector at $\sqrt{s}=7$~TeV.
