Sumario: | This document presents updated results on the $J/\psi \rightarrow \mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ measurement in collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 2.76$ TeV, based on a data sample collected during the 2011 PbPb run with the CMS experiment at the LHC, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 150 $\mu b^{-1}$. The prompt and non-prompt $J/\psi$ contributions are separated and the yields compared to those in pp at 2.76\,TeV scaled by the number of binary collisions in the form of nuclear modification factor, $R_{AA}$, in different bins of event centrality, and $J/\psi$ $p_T$ and rapidity. The high-$p_T$ prompt $J/\psi$ show a suppression that does not vary with rapidity, and, in the forward rapidity region, are as suppressed as the low-$p_T$ $J/\psi$. Non-prompt $J/\psi$ $R_{AA}$ dependence with $p_T$ and rapidity was measured in fine bins of centrality. These represent the first detailed measurements, in heavy-ion collision, of the b-quark energy loss kinematic dependence. |
