Sumario:Measurements of the variation of inclusive jet suppression as a function of azimuthal angle with respect to the elliptic flow event plane, Delta phi, can provide insight on the path length dependence of jet quenching in the the hot medium created in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions. ATLAS has measured the Delta phi dependence of jets yields in sqrt(snn) = 2.76 TeV Pb+Pb collisions for different bins in collision centrality over the centrality range 10%-60%. The jets were reconstructed using the antikt algorithm with distance parameter R = 0.2 and the jet kinematics were evaluated after subtraction of the underlying event. The variation of the jet yield with Delta phi was characterized by the elliptic flow parameter, v2, which has a characteristic centrality dependence seen in previous measurements and which decreases with increasing jet pT. Ratios are presented of pT spectra between different Dphi bins to illustrate the variation in the single jet suppression with angle of the jet with respect to the reaction plane.
