Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson through the $H \rightarrow ZZ$ decay channels with the ATLAS detector

The search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via its decays into two Z bosons is presented, based on the 4.7-4.9fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 7TeV, recorded in 2011 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The results obtained in the fully leptonic decay channel...

description The search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via its decays into two Z bosons is presented, based on the 4.7-4.9fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 7TeV, recorded in 2011 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The results obtained in the fully leptonic decay channel cover a wide range of Higgs boson mass hypotheses, between 110GeV and 600GeV. For Higgs boson masses above 200GeV, the sensitivity is substantially enhanced by using channels in which one of the Z bosons decays into neutrinos or quarks. With the current integrated luminosity, a wide mass range is excluded at the 95% confidence level.
