Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson through the $H \rightarrow ZZ$ decay channels with the ATLAS detector
The search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via its decays into two Z bosons is presented, based on the 4.7-4.9fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 7TeV, recorded in 2011 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The results obtained in the fully leptonic decay channel...

description | The search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via its decays into two Z bosons is presented, based on the 4.7-4.9fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 7TeV, recorded in 2011 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The results obtained in the fully leptonic decay channel cover a wide range of Higgs boson mass hypotheses, between 110GeV and 600GeV. For Higgs boson masses above 200GeV, the sensitivity is substantially enhanced by using channels in which one of the Z bosons decays into neutrinos or quarks. With the current integrated luminosity, a wide mass range is excluded at the 95% confidence level. |
