Sumario: | The production of jets in association with W or Z bosons in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV has been studied. The results are based on 35 pb−1 of data collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The production cross sections, differential in several kinematics variables, have been measured up to high jet multiplicities and compared to next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations. The ratio of the W and Z cross sections produced together with exactly one jet provides a very precise test of QCD and has also been measured. In addition, the cross section measurement of vector bosons produced with jets containing b-hadrons is presented. |
