Search for supersymmetry at $sqrt{s} = 7$~TeV~in final states with large jet multiplicity, missing transverse momentum and one isolated lepton with the ATLAS detector

This note presents an inclusive search for supersymmetry (SUSY) by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 7$~\TeV~ in final states with seven or more jets, missing transverse momentum and one isolated electron or muon. The search is based o...

description This note presents an inclusive search for supersymmetry (SUSY) by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 7$~\TeV~ in final states with seven or more jets, missing transverse momentum and one isolated electron or muon. The search is based on data from the full 2011 data-taking period, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 \ifb. Observations are consistent with Standard Model expectations, and limits are set on a number of SUSY models: MSUGRA/CMSSM, simplified models and a model with bilinear R-parity violating couplings embedded inside MSUGRA/CMSSM.
