Overview of Exotica Physics at ATLAS

A summary of recent searches for exotic phenomena by ATLAS is presented. These searches were performed using the full 2011 7 TeV dataset, or the first portion of the 2012 8 TeV dataset. The motivations for the searches include hypothetical particles such as new gauge bosons, new or excited quarks or leptons, or signatures of extra dimensions. No evidence for such new states is observed, and mass scale limits are presented ranging from several hundred GeV to several TeV, depending on the hypothetical new particle or scale of new physics.
