Sumario:I will discuss various aspects of the current and future ATLAS programs to explore hadronic physics, including diffraction and forward physics. The emphasis will be placed on those results and future plans that have particular relevance for high energy, and ultra high-energy, cosmic ray physics. In closing we will summarize the latest ATLAS results on the search for the Higgs boson.
