Sumario: | We report on a search for charged long-lived heavy particles, as predicted by several theories beyond the Standard Model. Such particles can be detected in ATLAS through anomalous specific ionization measured in the Pixel detector, their slow motion measured in the Calorimeters, and also through their possible muon-likeness in the Muon Spectrometer. Results of this search on the full data sample collected by ATLAS during 2011 are shown, combining the informations obtained from various sub-detectors. |
