Supersymmetry Searches in Final States with Three Leptons and Missing Transverse Momentum at ATLAS

The weak production of charginos and neutralinos could be the dominant production of supersymmetric particles if the masses of the strongly interecting ones are large. We present a search for the direct production of charginos and neutralinos in the final states with three electrons or muons and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at the LHC with the ATLAS detector. The results are compared to the Standard Model expectations and interpreted in the context of the phenomenological MSSM and simplified models.
