Sumario: | There are two main theoretical frameworks to explain small but non-zero neutrino mass : seesaw mechanisms and radiative generation of neutrino masses. The Type II Seesaw models and the Zee-Babu two-loop mass generation model require new heavy scalars and the Type III Seesaw models predict a heavy fermion triplet. We search for those new particles in same-sign dilepton and three lepton final states. We present results with the data sample recorded in 2011 and/or 2012 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. |
