Search for FCNC in top pair events in pp collisions

A search for flavor changing neutral currents in top quark decays is presented using a sample of top quark pair event candidates decaying via Wb and Zq into $\ell \nu$ b and $\ell\ell$q events. The search is performed at the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a data sample recorded in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The observed number of events agrees with the standard model prediction, and no evidence of flavor changing neutral currents in top decays is found.
