Sumario: | Brian E. Carpenter was Group Leader of the Communications Systems group at CERN in 1985-96, following ten years' experience in software for process control systems at CERN, which was interrupted by three years teaching undergraduate computer science at Massey University in New Zealand. He holds a first degree in physics and a Ph.D. in computer science, and was an M.I.E.E. He is now [2021] retired from the University of Auckland, but remains an active participant in the Internet Engineering Task Force. |
