description In this proceeding, a Higgs boson search in the H to τ^{+} τ^{−} to lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron decay modes is reported. The analysis is based on a data sample of proton-proton collision collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC) at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV during 2011, corresponding integrated luminosity of 4.7 f b^{−1} . The search was performed in the mass range of 100-150GeV. The observed(expected) upper limits on the cross-section times branching ratio for H to τ^{+}τ^{−} are derived by both lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron decay modes.
