New results using the razor at the LHC

The razor variables provide a sensitive and model independent way to search for the pair-production of massive new particles at the LHC. A number of different analyses have been performed by the CMS collaboration using these variables, resulting in stringent limits for many classes of new physics models. In this note, the status of these searches is presented using data taken by the CMS detector during the 2011 LHC proton-proton run at 7 TeV.
