description In this thesis anisotropic transverse flow v2 of charged and strange particle species measured by the CERES experiment is investigated. The Lambda, K^0_S, Pions and proton elliptic flow measurements from Pb-Au collisions at the highest SPS energy are presented. The data, collected by the CERES experiment which covers \eta=2.05-2.70 with full 2\pi azimuthal acceptance and pT sensitivity up tp 4 GeV/c, is used to test hydrodynamical models. The value of v2 as a function of centrality, rapidity, pseudorapidity and pT is presented for different particle species. The obtained measurements are compared with results from the NA49 experiment and with hydrodynamical calculations. Also teh results are compared with v2 values observed with STAR an RHIC. The mass ardening effect was observed:v2(Lambda)<v2(K^0_S)<Pions) at small pT, while at high pT it is opposite. In order to get better insight into the origin of the collective flow scaling to the number of the constituent quarks and the transverse rapidity y^fs_T scaling predicted by hydrodynamics were performed. Testing the differential flow measurements of different particle spicies against different scaling scenarios may yield additional informations about the origin of flow as well as about the the early stage of the collision.
