Sumario:<!--HTML--><p align="justify">David Chadwick, the test evangelist at IBM, will share his vision of software quality and collaborative development with pragmatic use cases and demonstrations of the Jazz platform.</p><p align="justify">The event will start with a public presentation on IBM's perspective on today's software development quality through collaborative testing, addressing points such as:</p><ul><li>Today's software quality, why it matters?</li><li>General overview of the IBM collaborative Jazz platform, QA and test management-Demonstration of Rational Quality Manager</li><li>Automatic functional testing</li><li>Code quality assessment</li><li>Collaboration &amp; management of the quality life-cycle with disparate teams</li><li>Quality metrics definitions and collection (including static code analysis)</li><li>Requirement coverage</li></ul><p>The public part will be followed by an open dive-on session where further details will be discussed.</p><h4>About the speakers</h4><pre><strong>David Chadwick<br />Rational Testing Evangelist, IBM Software Group, USA</strong> </pre><p align="justify">David is currently a member of the Jazz Jumpstart Team helping customers adapt the Jazz tools to their development and testing environments. For the previous six years, he was a development and L3 support manager on the Rational Performance Tester team.</p><p align="justify">He has worked in the computer industry for 35 years including stints at Bell Labs, Performance Awareness Corp., and Rational Software. For the last twenty years, David has specialized in the development of performance testing technology. He has worked in product development and support, technical services, customer training, and in pre-sales working with customers. He was also project leader and primary author for the IBM Redbook called &quot;Using Rational Performance Tester version 7&quot;.</p><p align="justify">His educational background includes two BS degrees (EE &amp; CS) from NC State University, an MSEE in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, and completed PhD coursework at Illinois Institute of Technology.</p> <pre> <strong>Ralph Schoon<br />IBM Rational Jumpstart team Jazz-Collaboration, Germany</strong> </pre> <p align="justify">Ralph Schoon is currently a member of the Jazz Jumpstart Team helping customers adapt the Jazz tools to their development and testing environments.</p><p align="justify">Prior to his current role Ralph worked as level 2 certified technical representative, responsible for software development and application lifecycle management solutions in the industrial sector. Since 2007 he specialized as subject matter expert and regional mentor on Jazz and Eclipse based solutions.</p><p align="justify">Ralph has over 15 years of experience in software development and systems engineering and has worked as administrator, developer and team lead.</p> <pre> <strong>Nicolas Berney<br />IBM Rational Account Manager, Switzerland</strong> </pre> <p align="justify">Nicolas Berney is currently responsible for IBM Rational in Suisse Romande and he is involved in helping customers to find the best solution for bettering their software development lifecycle.</p><p align="justify">Prior to his current role Nicolas Berney was a senior Rational consultant for over 6 years in the area of change management and project management solutions to help customer to implement IBM products in Geneva and Zurich.</p><p align="justify">Nicolas holds a master degree in Microelectronics from the engineering school in Yverdon.</p>
