PostgreSQL in the database landscape

He is working in the <a href="http://axleproject.eu/index.html" target="_blank">AXLE project</a>. He works as an Architect and Developer of new features for PostgreSQL, setting technical directions for 2ndQuadrant and as a Database Systems Architect for 2ndQuadrant customers. Simon is the author of PostgreSQL 9 Admin Cookbook; and a committer to the PostgreSQL project.</p> <p align="justify"> Harald Armin Massa studied computers and economics, he&#39;s self employed since 1999, doing software development in Python and focused on databases; working with PostgreSQL since 1995. He is working with the Europython organization since 2003, is a member of the <a href="http://www.python.org/psf/" target="_blank">Python Software Foundation</a>; and also one of the organizers of the <a href="http://2012.pgconf.eu/" target="_blank">PostgreSQL Conference Europe</a> since 2010. He&#39;s a presenter and trainer and managing owner of 2ndQuadrant Deutschland since spring 2011.</p>
