At the ICFA meeting on July 8 in Melbourne, an ICFA Beam Dynamics Workshop “Accelerators for a Higgs Factory: Linear vs. Circular” (HF2012) was approved. This workshop took place from November 14 to 16, 2012 at Fermilab, USA. (conferences.fnal.gov/hf2012) Seventy-one people from 31 institutions in Asia, Europe and North America attended.

It discusses four types of accelerators as possible candidates for a Higgs factory: linear e+e- colliders, circular e+e- colliders, muon collider and photon colliders.
