| Sumario: | In this note, the design of the Local Support structure for the barrel strip section of the inner tracker (commonly referred to as a stave) is presented. The basic elements of the barrel strip stave design are defined and a description of the assembly steps and tooling needed to assemble staves and to mount the silicon modules upon them is given. Finally, an estimate of the percentage radiation length of fully populated staves is presented. |
