DESIGN REPORT OF THE TRANSFER LINE BENDING MAGNETS FOR LINAC4

A review of a preliminary design of the H-shape Linac4 transfer line bending magnet described in EDMS 1252682 evidenced that the magnetic field quality has to be improved. This new report describes the modifications performed on the initial design to meet the field quality requirements imposed by beam optics specifications and provides a comprehensive list of the magnet parameters. It will be the reference for the write-up of the technical specifications for the purchase of the 6 magnets needed for Linac4.
