Sumario:In 2012 a new boson with a mass of about 125 GeV has been discovered by the ATLAS and CMS experiments operating at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The main decay channels contributing to this discovery were the decays into pairs of bosons: $H\to\gamma\gamma$, $H\to ZZ$ and $H\to WW$. So far, the properties of the new boson are compatible with the expectation for the long searched Higgs boson of the Standard Model. However, at a mass of around 125 GeV, the expected dominant decay mode ofthe Higgs boson is the decay into a pair of b-quarks. The observation of these decays is thus essential to investigate further the nature of the new boson. To overcome the problem of the overwhelming background from QCD jet production, the decay $H\to bb$ has to be exploited in production processes where the Higgs boson is produced in association with other particles. This talk presents the current results of the ATLAS experiment for the search of the Higgs boson in the decay channel $H\to bb$ where the Higgs boson is produced together with either a vector boson, W/ZH, or a pair of top quarks, ttH.
