Towards a Total Cross Section Measurement with the ALFA Detector at ATLAS
The main goals of the Absolute Luminosity For ATLAS (ALFA) detector providing an absolute luminosity and total cross section measurement are described. The used method, detector alignment and quality of collected data are discussed.
