description | The systems of neutral K and B mesons show various CP-symmetry breaking effects. Since the discovery of CP violation, experiments have studied the question if these effects are also T- or/and CPT-symmetry breaking; quantum mechanics does not forbid CPT violation. T violation has been claimed in many analyses of experimental data between 1970 and 2012, and no violation of CPT symmetry has been established. Since some cases have been discussed where an apparent T violation can be faked by final-state interactions or even by CPT violation, the workshop will critically review the most sensitive experiments, with participation from theory and from experiments (CPLEAR, KLOE, BABAR). The main discussion points: How sensitive are the CPT tests at present and what progress can we expect from experiments in the near future? |
