Sumario:After an introduction on to the Higgs boson physics and to the CMS detector and event reconstruction, the standard model Higgs boson searches at CMS are described. The results are obtained with the summer 2012 dataset, corresponding to integrated luminosities of up to $5.1\ \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s} = 7\ \mathrm{TeV}$ and $5.3\ \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s} = 8\ \mathrm{TeV}$. Particular emphasis is given to the searches in the $\mathrm{H}\to\mathrm{WW}\to2\ell\,2\nu$ and $\mathrm{H}\to\mathrm{ZZ}\to4\ell$ decay modes, and to the combined analysis of all the channels.
