Beyond the Standard Model Higgs Physics using the ATLAS Experiment

The discovery of a Higgs-like boson with a mass of about 125 GeV has prompted the question of whether or not this particle is part of a much larger and more complex Higgs sector than that envisioned in the Standard Model. description The discovery of a Higgs-like boson with a mass of about 125 GeV has prompted the question of whether or not this particle is part of a much larger and more complex Higgs sector than that envisioned in the Standard Model. In this talk, we outline the current results from the ATLAS Experiment regarding Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) Higgs hypothesis tests. Searches for additional Higgs bosons are presented and interpreted in well motivated BSM Higgs frameworks, such as two Higgs doublet Models and the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model.
