description Vector boson production in pp collisions at 7 TeV has been extensively studied by ATLAS. The Drell-Yan cross-section measurements are compared to NNLO QCD predictions corrected for NLO EW effects calculated using various PDF sets. The cross section of Z bosons produced in association with up to seven jets has been measured and compared to NLO theoretical predictions. Measurement of W+b production cross section probes the b-quark production by higher order QCD processes. An overview of these results is given.
