Sumario: | This document describes how the changes in LHCb's running conditions beyond LS1 (beyond 2015), in particular the anticipated higher centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV and hence increased heavy flavour production cross-sections, will affect LHCb's data processing strategy. It is emphasized that a significantly higher trigger bandwidth will be required in order to maintain signal efficiencies and profit maximally from the increase in cross-section. |
