Sumario: | Heavy resonances decaying into pairs of particles are an obvious signature to look for phenomena beyond the Standard Model. This article summarizes recent results on searches for resonances in pairs of jets, leptons, and photons by the ATLAS collaboration at the LHC. Various models are considered such as the Z′, Randall-Sundrum gravitons and excited quarks. Results from $\sqrt{s} = 8\,\text{TeV}$ and a combination of two $\sqrt{s} = 7\,\text{TeV}$ results in the diphoton and dilepton are presented. |
