Sumario:This talk presents quarkonium production rates in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV as measured by the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector, with samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $36~\text{pb}^{-1}$ and $4.6~\text{fb}^{-1}$. We show official results for $J/ \psi$, $\psi(2S)$, and $\Upsilon$ production as a function of transverse momentum, as well as results for relative prompt production of $\chi_{c2}$ and $\chi_{c1}$, and the first observation in CMS of the decays $B_{c} \rightarrow J/ \psi \pi^{\pm}$ and $B_{c} \rightarrow J/ \psi \pi^{\pm} \pi^{\mp} \pi^{\pm}$.
