Sumario: | A search is performed for the Higgs boson produced in association with a top quark and its antiparticle, using the leptonic and hadronic decay modes of the top quarks and the diphoton decay of the Higgs boson. The dataset used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. No excess over the background prediction is observed and limits are set on the production. The observed (expected) 95% confidence level exclusion limits on the production cross section for a Higgs boson with a mass of $m_H = 126.8$ GeV in association with a top quark pair are 5.3 (6.4) times the predicted Standard Model values. |
