Sumario:The ATLAS experiment at the LHC collider has been successfully taking data since the end of 2009 in proton-proton collisions at center of mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, and in heavy ion collisions. The ATLAS detector has been designed to cover a wide range of physics topics, from the search for the Higgs boson (which will be covered in a separate contribution), precision measurements of Standard Model physics, heavy flavor physics, and to maximize the potential for the discovery of new physics. In this talk, some of the most important recent ATLAS results will be given for the Standard Model measurements, the searches for supersymetry and exotica and for the heavy ion results.
