Study of the exclusive production of the Meson $ \chi_{c0}$ in CMS / LHC Experiment

We present a study of the central exclusive production of the c 0 meson in pp collisions at p s = 7 TeV in the CMS detector at the LHC collider. The c 0 is a c c meson state with the same quantum numbers as the Higgs boson, so it's observation is a good opportunity to test the exclusive production mechanism. We begin with a brief description of the Standard Model, diffraction physics and the experimental environment. The analysis was done using data collected in 2010 by CMS. We performed efficiency studies using real data and a sample of simulated Monte Carlo events and a preliminary estimation of the cross section
