Sumario: | In this report, I present my work measuring 2012 ATLAS photon trigger efficiency, as part of the CERN Summer Student Program. Knowledge of photon trigger efficiency is essential in measuring inclusive photon production cross section, which, with 2012 data, represents a direct test of the Standard Model in a new energy regime. One trigger chain of particular importance for this study, g20_loose, was found to be within 1% of full efficiency for transverse photon energies above 23 GeV. |
