Sumario:A search is conducted for hadronic three-body decays of new massive particles in $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV pp collisions using an integrated luminosity of $20.3 \pm 0.6\ fb^{−1}$ collected by the ATLAS detector. Supersymmetric gluino pairs in the context of certain models which do not conserve R-parity are used as benchmark scenarios. In the analysis a tight cut is performed on the pT of a model-dependent number of jets and b-tags in the event and a counting experiment is performed. Results are interpreted in the context of all possible branching fractions of the gluino decays to various quark flavors. This analysis represents the first seach at a collider experiment to investigate the various flavor hypotheses of the R-parity violating decay modes.
