Sumario: | A search for the Standard Model Higgs boson via Vector Boson Fusion in the two-photon decay channel with the ATLAS detector is presented. A Multivariate BDT approach is implemented to enhance the VBF signal significance and reduce the uncertainties on signal strength measurement. Results of MVA VBF analysis from March 2013 show an improvement of 32% on expected VBF signal strength uncertainties comparining to the public results from December, 2012. Combined result of different Higgs decay channels gives 3.3 sigma evidence for VBF Higgs production. |
