Single top-quark production cross section at the LHC in ATLAS

Measurements of the single top-quark production cross-sections with the ATLAS detector in $p$-$p$ collisions at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. Results of measurements and searches for single top­-quark production in the $t­$, $Wt­$ and $s$-channels as well as the determination of the CKM matrix element $|V_{tb}|$ are shown. Further, the separate measurement of the top and anti-top quark $t$-channel production cross-section and its ratio are presented. In addition, limits on exotic processes in single top-quark production are discussed, which includes the results of searches for flavor changing neutral currents or the search for additional $W'$ bosons in the $s$-­channel.
