Sumario:The LHCb collaboration foresees a major detector upgrade around 2018. In order to be able to work at higher instantaneous luminosity (2 • 10$^{33}$ cm$^{-2}$s${-1}$), the LHCb data taking scheme will be changed to a full 40 MHz readout of all the subdetectors and software implemented trigger running at a large PC farm. A general overview of the modifications foreseen to the LHCb Calorimeter system and the integration of the electromagnetic and hadronic calorimeters in this new scheme will be described.
